Philosophy
Respectware
Seremeres Games takes creative rights seriously and respect artists and authors. Spin Puzzle contains no copyright or trademark infringments, no images or text appear in this game without their creator’s or owner’s permission.
Don’t support theft!
While anyone can image search on the web, or even screen capture from their favourite games, finding an image, sound, or character doesn’t make it public domain. While we love the growing community of open source development, we believe strongly in the right of authors and artists to make a living providing us with the products we love. Unfortunately we have seen a large number of applications recently that do not obey even basic copyright and trademark laws. Profiting from other peoples work may be easy, but it’s wrong. As much as we may love iconic characters, the people responsible for the hard work and inspiration should be the ones being rewarding, not leeches feeding off their work without permission. Seremeres Games strives to ensure all our material in our games is created in-house, is known to be in the public domain, or is properly licensed. This isn’t the easy route but we support the artists and authors that have made our world what it is. As much as we would love to make games using our favourite characters, as easy as life would be if we borrowed sounds, or as fast as copying art is, we do not condone it and hope that you will not stand for it either. Respectware is our symbol for games and software made right, respecting what we love, respecting our peers, and respecting the trust you place in us as customers.
